Chef & Brewer, Down Grange, Basingstoke	Used several times by IVC for the Christmas Party. Chef & Brewer at Down Grange provide a consistent standard of good food with an excellent (if predictable) choice on the menu. This venue has been used by IVC for parties rather than meals out. Plenty of space but the standard of the discos has been variable and BNHIVC has occasionally experienced difficulties with the management of Xmas Party bookings.
Dummer Golf Club, Dummer, Basingstoke	The most popular venue for BNHIVC and club members to hold parties. Most of the BNHIVC Christmas Parties have been held here since the Golf Club opened. The venue has a very comfortable bar linked to a function room that can cater for up to 70 people for a sit down meal. The seperation of the function room and the bar makes for a great party venue allowing party goers to sit and chat on comfortable sofas or dance as required. Prices are competitive and staff friendly and attentive. Great bar staff. Many club parties and private parties for members have been held here. Highly recommended by BNHIVC. Wellington Arms Hotel, Stratfield Turgis, Hook	Used several times by IVC for the Christmas Party. Wellington Arms Hotel function suite is large, modern and well provided. The food at the parties attended by IVC has been of a good consistent standard, available as a self service buffet rather than table service. This venue has been used by IVC for parties rather than meals out due to the distance from Basingstoke.
Wheatsheaf Hotel, North Waltham, Basingstoke	Used several times by IVC for theme Parties, mostly members disco type parties. Also used for a members wedding party. The 'barn' venue is atmospheric so worth considering if you want somewhere a bit different. The prices quoted are likely to be competitive.
