Come along on a Tuesday night from 8.30pm and find out what
events are being organised or use this as a chance to promote your own events to
other members. This is a social event so you can arrive at any time through the
evening to chat with friends and new members. There will always be at least one
committee member present if you need to raise any issues. Club Night
is often used by our members to promote their events to other members and guage
interest in any new event ideas.
See the clubs
Online Diary for details of venues for club nights for this
month.
Come along on a Monday night and join the regular crowd for some
fine jive dancing. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before, or even seen it,
there is step by step instruction for beginners for the first 45 minutes of the evening
from 8.00pm. This is followed by 15-20 minutes of freestyle dance for you to practice your moves.
Then either a second intermediate class for those who are feeling confident or a chance
to go through the beginners moves again in a smaller group until about 10.00pm. The remainder of the
evening until 11.00pm is freestyle dance. You can choose to participate further as your
confidence grows by attending regular freestyle party nights. There is a licenced bar, no dress code,
and you can come on your own or with a partner.
