Basingstoke and North Hants IVC members often visit many of the pubs in and around Basingstoke that are listed below either individually or as part of a club event. The pubs that have been visited are rated by 1 to 5 pictures of a drinks glass depending on how many drinks the reviewer(s) would want to have in the pub.

This pub serves drinks! Does not generally feature in IVC members events. Used occassionally by IVC members for events. Nice Pub ... features quite often in events organised by IVC members! Very Good ... one of our regular watering holes for Tuesday Club Night! Excellent ... great pub to visit anytime!

The most regular of BNHIVC Club Night venues. A pleasant local pub which serves a good selection of beers and enjoys a relaxed atmosphere. The club meets here for club night at least twice a month on Tuesdays from 8.30pm.

This pub has been one that was strictly for the locals. It has never been used by IVC for anything. However, one of our members is now local to the pub and the place is under new management ... so there is a possibility it may be used in the future.

This pub is generally very quiet in the evening since it gets most of its trade from the Basing View business area during weekday lunchtimes. Has been used occassionally by IVC as part of an event.

One of the pubs on the list of occasional club night venues for IVC. A busy pub with a good range of beers. Very nice in winter with a big open fire. One of the few club night venues where members will gather to eat before club night.

Paradoxically, the Old White Hart is the newer of the two places called the White Hart in Hook. This is the first of the two when coming from Basingstoke down the A30. Has featured as a Club Night venue for the IVC. Pleasant social atmosphere and good choice of beers.

Another delightful old style country pub with a good range of beers and a good range of food. It's not quite as popular with IVC as the Sun Inn but it's still well worth a visit. This pub is very popular and is easier to find than The Sun.
