Directions:
The hotel is just off the Basingstoke ring road. Leave the ring road at the
junction for the Basingstoke Hospital and/or Tadley. However, do not take the
road which leads to the Hospital but take the next exit from the
roundabout. The Hotel entrance is on this road, on your left, about 50 meters along.

Directions:
Old Basing is east of Basingstoke and quite easy to find. The best route is to
take the A30 east out of Basingstoke (from the M3 Junction 6 roundabout) and you
will soon come across several signs pointing to Old Basing (left off the
A30). Taking any of these will take you into the centre of Old Basing. The
Bolton Arms is not the pub which is right in the centre of Old Basing, but is
actually at the east end of the village. "The Street" runs through the
village East to West (and West to East), so when you get to the centre of Old Basing,
follow this road east and drive (slowly) though the village. You will drive under a narrow
railway bridge and then come to the pub which will be on your left. If you
know your way from Chineham then you can come in from the east side of Old
Basing, in which case, you'll pass the Pub on your way into Old Basing. It will
be on your right.

Directions:
Chineham is to the North East of Basingstoke. From the Basingstoke ring road
take the A33 towards Reading. You will go past the Tesco roundabout and come to
a set of traffic lights. Take a left here, over the next mini-roundabout and
into Chineham village along Bowman Road. Drive slowly through the village
turning left at the next mini roundabout. When you come to the T junction, turn
right and the Chineham arms is right in front of you.

Directions:
From the Basingstoke ring road, head off towards Oakley on the B3400 (called
"Churchill Way West") which is the same road which leads to the Cinema
and Leisure Park. Go straight across the roundabout where you would turn into
the Leisure Park and continue on the B3400 towards Oakley (now called "Worting
Road"). At the next roundabout go straight across and keep following the
B3400 ("Worting Road") out of Basingstoke going under a railway
bridge. Keep following this road out of Basingstoke (noting that it changes to
be called "Andover Road". A few miles outside of Basingstoke you will
come to Oakley and the pub is on the B3400, on the left.

Directions:
Go around the Basingstoke ring road (either way round) until you come to the
roundabout sign posted for Alton (which is south on the A339 and a road called
Hackwood Road). Take this road and at the next roundabout, turn right onto Grove
Lane. Drive past the Texaco garage (on your left) and up to the next roundabout.
This roundabout is called the "Golden Lion Roundabout" because the pub
is right there next to the roundabout.

Directions:
This pub was formerly the Hogs Head until Feb 2005 when it became part of
the Green King and was renamed the bakers Arms. The pub is in the town centre
in what is called the older "top of town". If
you know where Macdonald's is (which is easy to find), if you look at
Macdonald's then the pub is down the street to your right.

The Hop Leaf

This pub is in the town centre in what we call the "top of town". If
you know where Macdonald's is (which is easy to find), if you turn away from Macdonald's
(so it is behind you) then you will see a road each side of the museum leading
away from you. The pub is down the one on the left, Church Street.

The Millstone

Sometimes, incorrectly, referred to as Barton's Mill, which is the name
of the mill, and the restaurant, but not the actual name of the pub.

Directions: One of the most challenging locations to write directions
for. As usual we'll start from the Basingstoke ring road. Come off the ring road
at the Reading junction, the A33. Instead of taking the A33 exit on the
roundabout, take the very next exit onto "Faraday Road". Continue
along Faraday Road (which bears right) and down to another roundabout. Go
straight across this roundabout and onto "Swing Swang Lane". Drive
along until you reach a mini-roundabout. Go straight across this mini-roundabout
and take the next left turn into "Bartons Lane" (if you go under a
railway bridge you've gone too far). Go along "Bartons Lane" for about
200 meters and the road to the pub is on your right and is sign-posted. Turn
right into this road, keep to the left and you will end up in the Pub car park.

Directions: Take the Basingstoke ring road exit for Winchester along
the A30 (south/west out of Basingstoke) until you come to Sainsbury's (on your
right). Turn left at the roundabout (onto Wallop Drive), across the Sainsbury's
mini-roundabout, then right at the T-junction (onto Long Cross Lane). Follow
this road around to the next T-junction. Turn right (onto Woodbury Road) then
left at the next roundabout (onto Cliddesden Lane). Follow this road around for
about 1/2 mile, the pub is on the left.

Either (a) Take the A30 out of Basingstoke towards Winchester until you come to
the M3 junction (junction 7) or (b) come along the M3 (east or west) and
come off at Junction 7. From this roundabout, take the Dummer exit (south
and clearly sign-posted) and proceed (slowly) through the village for about 1/2
mile. You will see the pub on your right hand side, slightly set back from the
road. If you come to a sharp right hand bend by the church, you've gone too far.

Directions: Take the Basingstoke ring road to the roundabout
junction sign posted for Aldermaston (and the Basingstoke Community Hospital).
This is the A340 and is called "Aldermaston Road". Take this road
North and head out of Basingstoke towards Aldermaston. After about 2 miles you
will come to Sherbourne St John village (where you have to slow down). Drive
through the village and continue on the A340 for another 2 miles and you will
come to Pamber End. The pub is on the A340 on your left as you go through the
village right opposite Bramley Road (which turns off the A340 to the right).

It's just in front of the Warner Village Cinema in the Basingstoke Leisure Park
(enough said). As you drive into the Leisure Park, move into the right hand lane

Directions: From the Basingstoke ring road take the A339 towards
Newbury. Drive out of Basingstoke on the A339 for about 6 miles. As you come
into Kingsclere you will meet a small roundabout. Go straight across this
roundabout and continue along the A339 past a "Little Chef" on the
right. Not far past the "Little Chef" (about 200 meters) is the Pub.
You will see it on your left, on the apex of a right hand bend.

from Basingstoke on the A30) and then, after about 200 meters, turn left and
take the A30 towards Winchester. Drive on for about a mile and just after a
short stretch of dual carriageway you will see the pub on your right.

Directions: Take the Basingstoke ring road to the roundabout
junction sign posted for Aldermaston (and the Basingstoke Community Hospital).
This is the A340 and is called "Aldermaston Road". Take this road
North. Go across the traffic lights and be ready to take either of the next two
roads on the right, either "Elm Road" or "Kiln Road". Both
take you into the centre of Sherborne St John where the pub is. Be aware that
the pub is set back from Kiln Road slightly and may not be immediately obvious
when you first pass it.

Winchester. Drive on for about 3 miles, passing The Sun Inn on your right
(another of our venues) and you will come across the Wheatsheaf which will be on
your right.

This pub is in the town centre in what we call the "top of town". If
you know where Macdonald's is (which is easy to find), if you look at
Macdonald's then the pub is down the street to your right (Winchester Road). Go
along this street, past the Hogs Head (another of our venues) until you come to
the end of the pedestrian section of Winchester Street. Cross the intersection
(a cross road) and continue along Winchester Road. The pub is on your right
about 50 meters along at the junction of Winchester Road and Sarum Hill.

The White Hart

Directions: Come off the Basingstoke ring road at the Reading
junction and take the A33 towards Reading. Continue along and out of Basingstoke
for about 4 miles and you will come to a roundabout. Turn left into Sherfield On
Loddon, and then right at the cross roads. The Pub is right there, on your
right.
